Join our Tween / Teen Advisory Board! It's the perfect opportunity for tweens and teens to have their voices heard and make a difference in our community.
We meet Monthly, Every 2nd Wednesday from 5:30 PM till 6:30 PM.
We'll discuss various topics that are important to young individuals like you. Share your ideas, suggestions, and opinions on a wide range of subjects. This is your chance to become an influential member of the Tween / Teen Advisory Board and help shape the future.

Filling out an application does not guarantee acceptance to the TAB, but your application will be kept on file for a year if there are no current openings
Currently we are NOT serving as a site for community service connected to juvenile (youth) probation.
Tween/Teen Advisory Board

Turn in paper form with parent/guardian signature for those 17 and younger.
Students 16 and older will need to pass a criminal background check.
Applicants will be contacted via preferred method listed on their application if accepted to become a member.
What is TAB?
A tween/teen advisory board is a group that meets to help the library plan and create programs tailored to their interests.
Who can join TAB?
Membership is open to those aged 8-12 for the tweens and 13-18 for the teens. Students must be currently enrolled in an elementary, middle school, or high school program via public school or homeschool.
Why Join TAB?
Help make decisions that affect teens in the library and the community.
Help plan library programs, events, displays, service projects, and more.
Earn community service hours. Gain volunteer and leadership experience and job skills to add to your resume, high school, and college applications.
Make new friends and have fun.
What is expected of TAB members?
Regularly attend monthly meetings and notify library staff if a meeting will be missed
Be an active participant in the group, be willing to share ideas, and interact in meetings
Act as a library ambassador and all-around model of good preteen/teen behavior
Volunteer at as many tween/ teen library programs as your schedule allows, with a minimum commitment of 2 per year.
