The Friends of the Forest Hill Library was organized on September 17, 1987 as a 501(C)(3) organization that is still actively working to support the library.
The purpose of the Friends organization is:
Promote the interest and welfare of the Forest Hill Library as a cultural and educational asset to the city of Forest Hill, TX.
To attract bequest and gifts of books, volunteer labor, manuscripts, money or other library materials.
To receive an maintain funds of real or personal property to be used exclusively for charitable, religious, scientific, literary or educational purposes either directly or by contributions to organizations that are exempt under Section 501(c)(3) or the Internal Revenue Code.
Membership
A FRIENDS membership application is available on the information table directly inside the Library.
Mail the application along with your tax-deductible donation to the Forest Hill Public Library District, Attention: Friends.
