Support the Future of the Forest Hill Library
Organized on September 17, 1987, as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, the Friends of the Forest Hill Library continue to actively support and advocate for our library. We are committed to raising both funds and awareness of the Forest Hill Library as a vital cultural and educational resource for the communities of Forest Hill and Everman, Texas.
The Friends support the library through memberships, book and media sales, donations, and fundraising efforts—all of which help fund library programs, events, and materials.
In June 2008, the Forest Hill Library District opened its doors at its current location: a 7,700-square-foot building situated on 5.29 acres.
The building was designed with future growth in mind.
We are excited to announce plans for a 15,000-square-foot expansion, which will include:
Larger spaces for children and teens
A makerspace for STEAM-related projects
Study and reading rooms
A dedicated area for our senior adult community
A community room with seating for up to 300 people for programs and events
This project represents a major investment in the future of our library and our community. We rely on the support of generous donors to make it possible and would be deeply grateful for your tax-deductible contribution to the Friends of the Forest Hill Library.
