Wanda King

Wanda King, 68, is a devoted woman of faith and long-time member of Berea Baptist Church in Fort Worth, where she has served for 26 years. Originally from Overton, Texas, she moved to Fort Worth in 1981. A proud mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she has been married to Baron L. King Sr. for 32 years.
After attending Kilgore Jr. College and working in various roles, Wanda King retired from National Oilwell Varco Hydra Rig in 2023 after 20 years of service. Her passion for ministry includes serving as an usher, Culinary Leader, Deaconess, Women’s Ministry member, and Church Janitor.
Since 2008, Wanda King has been an active member of the Forest Hill Ushers Union, holding roles such as Vice President, President, and National Instructor. She is also affiliated with state and national church usher organizations.
Known for her love of cooking, gardening, and caring for the sick and elderly, Wanda King approaches every task with dedication, pride, and a heart for service.
