🏆 FHLD Earns 2025 Achievement of Library Excellence Award

Three Years in a Row!

The Forest Hill Library District is proud to announce that we have once again received the 2025 Achievement of Library Excellence Award from the Texas Municipal Library Directors Association (TMLDA)—our third consecutive year earning this prestigious statewide recognition!

This award honors libraries that demonstrate excellence in community service, innovative programming, literacy, workforce development, digital inclusion, partnerships, and exceptional public service.

Out of 545 public libraries in Texas, only 101 libraries received this distinction in 2025.

This achievement belongs to our entire library family. We extend our sincere appreciation to our Board of Trustees, Friends of the Forest Hill Library, community partners, and everyone who supports and participates in our programs.
