๐Ÿ—๏ธ Building Our Future

A New Chapter for Forest Hillย

ย

For more than a decade, the Forest Hill Library District has served as a place where our community learns, connects, creates, and grows. As our city has grown, so has the demand for library services. Now it's time for a library that reflects the future of Forest Hill.

๐Ÿ“ˆ Why We Need a New Library

Our Community Has Changed

Since opening in 2008, our community, programs, and services have grown tremendouslyโ€”but our building has remained the same. Today's library has reached its capacity, limiting our ability to meet the growing needs of our residents.

Library stats for 2025: 7,700 sq. ft., 421 programs, 5,703 attendees, 34,110 check-outs, nearly 5x circulation since 2019.

๐ŸŒŸย A Library Designed for the Future

The proposed 20,700-square-foot library will nearly triple the size of our current facility, creating modern spaces that serve children, teens, families, students, businesses, and lifelong learners. The projected investment in this transformational project is $18 million.

A vibrant community center with colorful buildings, a parking lot, and people enjoying the surrounding park and playground.
