Beverly Rose Hatcher

Beverly Rose Hatcher was born on May 4, 2015, at Baylor Hospital in Fort Worth. She’s the daughter of Nathan Hatcher of Tolar and Sharon Hatcher, a USAF brat who settled in Texas in 2001. Beverly has grown up in Fairmount, a historic Fort Worth neighborhood, where she attended Mr. Russell’s arts preschool at the Fairmount Community Library.
After briefly relocating to Baton Rouge and Beaumont for her dad’s job, Beverly returned to Fort Worth just before starting virtual kindergarten at De Zavala Elementary—her uncle’s illness made at-home learning the safest choice.
A space enthusiast since age two, Beverly Rose Hatcher also discovered a love for hockey in the summer before first grade through the Dallas Stars Metro Hockey League’s Rookie Program. A natural on the ice, she advanced through Pre-Hockey and Hockey Academy, joining the 8U Rockets and later the 8U Sharks. Though often the only girl on the team, she stayed committed and went on to play with Team Texas and in the all-girls Victory Green Girls League. Her current team, the 10U Ice Bandits, won both the President’s Day and end-of-season tournaments. Beverly plays both offense and defense and is known for her coachable spirit.
Beyond the rink, Beverly Rose Hatcher is an avid artist who attends camps at the Sid Richardson Art Museum and is inspired by her school art teacher, Mrs. French. She participates in the Girls in STEM program at the Fort Worth Science Museum, enjoys skateboarding, Roblox, retro video games, Hello Kitty, and Star Wars.
