Pastor Darrell Blair
Senior Pastor, New Breed Christian Center | Faith, Music and Ministry | The Voice for a Generation

A native of Fort Worth, Texas, Pastor Darrell Blair is an anointed minister of the Gospel, national gospel-recording artist, and prophetic voice called by God to speak to the nations in this hour as a “Voice for the Joshua Generation.” His ministry is marked by a powerful combination of preaching, teaching, and prophetic anointing—bringing forth a fresh Rhema Word to destroy yokes and set captives free.
Pastor Blair’s journey began in music, singing in the youth choir at the age of twelve. He accepted his call to ministry in 1991 after years of serving as a minister of music and gospel recording artist. In obedience to God’s leading, he founded New Breed Christian Center, where the mission is clear: “Where Ministry Means People and Everybody is Somebody.”
His educational path includes a degree in Business Administration and ongoing theological studies at Southern Bible Institute in Dallas, Texas. In 2010, Pastor Blair came under the covering of Bishop-Elect Marvin L. Winans, Sr., aligning with Perfecting Fellowship International (PFI), and he continues to be mentored by Bishop I.V. Hilliard through the Association of Independent Ministries (AIM Fellowship).
As a gifted preacher, vocalist, and lyricist, Pastor Blair has ministered alongside some of the most influential voices in the kingdom, including Darryl Coley, Karen Clark-Sheard, Dorinda Clark-Cole, Donnie McClurkin, Pastor John P. Kee, Pastor Rance Allen, Jessica Reedy, and CeCe Winans. He is a former lead vocalist with Kirk Franklin and The Family, known for his lead on the platinum-selling title track Whatcha’ Lookin 4. His ministry and artistry have also reached theatrical stages, performing in Tyler Perry’s Why Did I Get Married and the stage play The Maintenance Man with Arnez Jay, Darius McCrary, and Billy D. Williams.
From writing and singing to acting, directing, and preaching, Pastor Blair continues to yield every gift to God’s service. His life and ministry are strengthened by his wife, LaTonja Blair, his partner in life and vision. Together, they are the proud parents of two children, Lyric and Zion.
