💖 Gro’ Her ’Fro – A Celebration of Self-Love & Black History Month 💖

Library event celebrating Valentine's Day and Black History Month. Share self-love and thoughts on Black culture throughout February.

Join us at the Forest Hill Public Library for Gro’ Her ’Fro, a family-friendly community activity celebrating Valentine’s Day, Black History Month, and self-love throughout the month of February.

Visitors of all ages are invited to participate by sharing positive reflections and affirmations. Simply stop by the library, pick up a heart and pen, and write:

  • Your favorite thing about yourself
  • What Black culture means to you
  • What being Black means to you
  • A message of love, pride, or encouragement

Add your heart to our growing display and help create a beautiful visual celebration of identity, culture, and community.
