Join us for an inspiring afternoon of literary excellence, live performances, and community celebration at the Forest Hill Library’s 2nd Annual Writers Showcase (Author Expo).

This signature event brings together local authors, poets, and creatives from across DFW for an evening of connection, culture, and storytelling — building a literary legacy that reflects the voices of our community.

We are honored to feature Marcine M. Moore — acclaimed poet, best-selling author, and NAACP Image Award nominee — whose powerful work continues to inspire readers nationwide.

This event is FREE and open to the public.
All are welcome to attend and enjoy the program.

✍🏽 Author Participation

Published local authors who would like to participate in the showcase:

• A $10 participation fee is required
• Authors are invited (but not required) to donate one complimentary copy of their published book if they would like their work included in our new Local Author Collection

Donated books will become part of the library’s official circulating collection and available for community checkouts.  This is your opportunity to showcase your work, connect with fellow writers, and expand your reach within the community.
