Reflections & Revelations: Stories That Shape Our History
Stories That Shape Our History
Reflections & Revelations is a special storytelling series within the Forest Hill Library District's signature podcast, Ordinary Conversations with Extraordinary People. Dedicated to preserving the voices, wisdom, and lived experiences of our senior adult community, this series celebrates the individuals whose stories have shaped our families, neighborhoods, and history.

Each month, we invite a senior member of our community to share their personal journey—from childhood memories and career experiences to family traditions, life lessons, and defining moments. These authentic conversations offer a unique opportunity to preserve local history, celebrate resilience, and inspire future generations through the power of storytelling.
Hosted by Willie Stricklin IV, Reflections & Revelations is recorded during Adult Activity Day, held on the first Thursday of every month at the Forest Hill Library District. Whether recounting cherished memories, overcoming challenges, or reflecting on a lifetime of service, every guest reminds us that every life holds extraordinary value and every story deserves to be heard.
As an extension of Ordinary Conversations with Extraordinary People, this series reflects the Forest Hill Library District's commitment to lifelong learning, community engagement, and preserving the rich history and diverse voices that define our community.
