🌸 Women Shaping the Next Chapter of Our Library

Celebrating Women’s History Month in Forest Hill and Everman

🌿 Leadership That Builds Opportunity

In recent editions of The Bookmark, we highlighted the visionary founder who helped establish the library, the dedicated Board of Trustees who guide its direction, and the Friends of the Forest Hill Library whose volunteer support strengthens its programs and outreach.

Together, their leadership has helped build the strong foundation on which the Forest Hill Library District continues to grow.

This Women’s History Month, we recognize the many women whose leadership and service continue to shape the library’s progress today. From governance and volunteer leadership to community advocacy and partnership, women play an important role in helping the library remain a welcoming place where learning, connection, and opportunity thrive.

Their dedication has helped position the library to move forward with confidence as it prepares for the next phase of growth.

📚 Preparing for the Future

Under the leadership of Library Executive Director Michael Hardrick and Library Manager Aurelia Wilson, the Forest Hill Library District continues to evolve to meet the changing needs of the community.

Working in collaboration with the Board of Trustees, community supporters, and library partners, the library remains focused on expanding programs, strengthening services, and ensuring access to educational resources for residents of all ages.

This leadership and collaboration are helping guide the library toward its next stage of development — one that will build upon the vision that first brought the library to life.

🌍 Leadership Across Our Communities

As we celebrate Women’s History Month, we also recognize the many women serving in leadership roles throughout Forest Hill and Everman. From city leadership and education to civic organizations and community service, women across both communities continue to help strengthen the places we call home.

Their dedication to public service reflects the same spirit of collaboration and leadership that supports the mission of the Forest Hill Library District.

🔮 Looking Ahead

As the Forest Hill Library District looks toward the future, the leadership and partnerships highlighted this month continue to guide an exciting next phase of growth.

In our next issue of The Bookmark, we will begin sharing more about the library’s proposed expansion and the collaborative efforts underway to help bring that vision to life for the communities of Forest Hill and Everman.

💛 The Next Chapter

The story of the Forest Hill Library District continues to unfold through the dedication of leaders, volunteers, and community partners who believe in the power of libraries to transform lives.

Together, their commitment ensures the library remains a place where ideas grow, connections are made, and opportunities begin.
